Michigan’s Mobile / Wireless Technologies Make Presence Known at 2013 DiSciTech Awards

The Mobile Technology Association (MTAM) and Six of its Member Firms Each Receive Awards at the 2013 Corp! Magazine DiSciTech Awards
DETROIT, April 19, 2013 — Corp! Magazine’s annual state-wide celebration of Michigan’s digital, scientific and technological pursuits resulted in a very strong presence from the state’s mobile / wireless community when the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan, the industry’s state-wide trade association, and six of its member companies were among the award recipients.

were among the winners at the April 18th event at Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills. Additionally, Logic Solutions was the overall award winner in the Digital category.

MTAM’s executive director, Linda Daichendt offered this perspective, “Mobile/wireless technologies are the fastest growing industry in the state of Michigan, but yet in many ways, the best kept secret; now, the secret is out. Michigan is leading the nation in advancements utilizing these technologies across many industry verticals and we have an abundance of talent in all areas of the mobile/wireless eco-system right here in the state. We’re thrilled that Corp! Magazine has recognized the outstanding work being done by MTAM and our member firms as representatives of our industry, and we believe it will aid Michigan’s business, government and education communities in understanding the positive economic impact these technologies are having on the state’s economy. We’re certain that this recognition of those working in our industry will serve as a motivator for others in our state to continue their efforts and ensure Michigan’s leadership position in the industry which will result in continued job and business growth.”
